Like A Local Guide is about finding those cool and cozy spots that locals' like to hang out at and missing the tourist traps. We have built this awesome web site and a mobile app where the travel tips are being created by well-selected local editors of each city who know what they're talking about.





Why travel like a local?

Look, we've seen our share of tourism sites during our time here on Earth. A lot of them amount to little more than the Yellow Pages disguised as something vaguely more useful. We always end up getting lost sifting through hundreds upon hundreds of useless pages and before we know it we're spending the night watching "Finding Nemo" on the hostel's big screen.

We're not listing random places either – all the content is created by well selected local editors who write reviews about the places they like themselves and would recommend to their best friends. Our community of city-dwelling leisure-lizards knows how to tell a hit place from a shhhhyeah - a rip, uh, off place. 

Anyway, what we're saying is that we are the Batman of tourism sites, not so much because we drive black jet-powered supercars and wear leotards underneath our uncomfortably undersized panties, but because we care.
