Why locals love it
Yes. The Public Library. Definitely not as dull as it sounds. Of course this place is where people of all ages go to study, read or borrow, but when someone starts playing the piano at the ground floor, the place turns into a home where everybody loves their neighbor.

Why you should visit it
The OBA is also a place where you can enjoy the city from a higher level. On the top floor there is a cafe/lunchroom with a roof terrace that provides you with a view on the city centre from the North side.
Special tip
Even though the Dutch word for public - openbare - makes it look and sound like there is an open bar, there is none. Sorry guys.
