Why locals love it
A couple of friends in their late 20's opened this place in September '13. In Dutch 'Ruyschkamer' is a wordplay between the street name and the Dutch word for 'living room'. Even though Amsterdam has dozens of living room alike bars, they managed to create something different. Besides creating the looks of one, they actually made it feel like one.
Why you should visit it
One of our favorite places in town, with many reasons to visit: fresh, healthy juices, great sweets from a local patisserie, perfect background jazz, wide variety of Belgian & German beers, friendly staff, 50's Berlin living room style cafe and the New York bar area. Don't be surprised if you're having lunch next to people playing a board game.
