Why locals love it
When you open the door of Soundgarden, there are some things you can be sure of. It will smell to old beer, it won't look very fancy and the guy with the tattoos in the leather jacket behind the pinball machine will look at you with one eye to check out who is entering his bar. What you're never sure of, is the kind of music there will be playing.
Why you should visit it
Depending on the night and event you can listen to (heavy) punk rock, but also acoustic music and sometimes there are even DJ's playing vinyl. Soundgarden has a couple of house bands that play regularly. There is a big room for smokers and some pool tables to makes this the ideal hang out.
Special tip
Soundgarden is not inaccurately named. Besides their great sounds, they also have a garden in the back with a terrace next to the canal.
