Barcelona nightlife can be a hard thing to get a grasp on. All bars close at 03:00, after which the clubs start being packed. Most clubs rarely get going before 02:00. At first, going out might seem fairly expensive, but the trick is to keep an eye out for flyers at the bars or check facebook for lists for discounted entrances. Most clubs will close at 06:00, where the afterhour bars take over. Follow the crowd, as these are constantly changing.
