In the fourteenth century the ”Graft” ditch was built as the first obstacle against attackers. Afterwards, the first defending wall of Brasov was built, surrounded by 8 towers and bastions. Nowadays, this is only a very quiet and relaxing place to have a walk in the nature, see the ancient walls of the old city and feel protected by the big and powerful towers.

There are a lot of places where to walk here, from the forest to surprising spots where you can observe the whole old city from above.
