A hidden gem of Bucharest

Luigi Cazzavillan Park

Why locals love it

I love this park because of its beauty and location close to one of the most touristic parks of parks of Bucharest, Cismigiu but at the same time so unknown to almost all the people visiting the city. Built in 1905 to honour the memory of Cazzavillan, the founder of the Romanian New York Times called "Universul".

Why you should visit it

You should come and see it because of its size and because it is hidden right in the middle of the city and also because you will feel like in Paris. The walk to the park will take from the bustling center to the quiet center and also if you will close your eyes you will feel the perfume of the Belle Epoque of Bucharest around you.

Special tip

Try it in the summer after 19:00.
