If you are spending one night in Caracas and love partying hard, UVE, formerly known as SAWU, is the place to be! This club is locally known for hosting amazing parties. However it is so popular that if you arrive after midnight you could spend plenty of time waiting in a queue to get in.

The ambiance from the outside to the inside is very luxurious, colonial European style, with very fancy and comfortable couches. You get the impression that you're in somebody's mansion! If you want one of these couches and tables, you need to get your pocket ready to spend some money, as they are only available for people willing to buy a service of rum or whiskey, which means a whole bottle with water, sodas and of course, as locally served, with lots of ice! For locals it is said to be more expensive as they would prefer, but foreigners do not think twice about asking for a very good Venezuelan rum which cuts the budget to half! But it does allow them to enjoy the night with a true Carribean flavour!

Music in this place is the best of the best in combination of Latin and electronic music! Of course Reggeaton and Merengue will not be missing. If you are in a group and you can afford a bottle you will be in paradise! A piece of advice- if you want to get in, you have to pay attention to your clothes. Sneakers or T-shirts are banned, so suit up!
