Whelan’s is one of the oldest and most famous pubs in Ireland. According to their website the place dates from 1772. That doesn’t mean you will be entering to a medieval place. Whelan’s is currently one of the best live music scenes in the city. Bands like the Artic Monkeys and the Magic Numbers have had gigs in this bar.
