With beautiful scenery and amazing nature, Holyrood Park is a perfect location for a sunny day out. It used to be a royal hunting estate, but luckily its now a great public park. Discover all it has to offer: Artur's Seat, the extinct volcano, the city view from Salisbury Crags or the romantic chapel ruin overlooking St Margaret's Loch.

A visit in Edinburgh should include climbing the legendary Arthur's Seat. If you are less adventurous, try Salisbury Crags which is an easier climb and you get a closer view of the city. St Margaret's Loch is an easy walk, but still a very scenic option.
Scotland can be extremely windy sometimes, avoid climbing on windy days. Climbing shoes recommended unless you want to end up with muddy sandals.
