Even though I have lived in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, for a couple of years now, I was born, raised and schooled in Pärnu. I still visit quite often, as my parents and grandparents are there, and well, as they say- there is no place like home. As I am a backpacker myself, I know, how hard it is to find good value places without doing 8 weeks of research before.
