Why locals love it?

It's an easy to find landmark in the city and frequently the exhibitions are the sort that everyone goes to see, not it's not just for stuffy art lovers. Often an exhibition will be paired with some kind of live events, like workshops, lectures or performances, so it's very much 'living art' here.

Why you should visit it

Finland's famed Museum of Contemporary Art is a well-recognised landmark, and definitely worth a visit, if only to enjoy the amazing airy architecture of the building itself. It often houses exciting and interactive rotating exhibitions and installations by Finnish and international artists.
