Located not too far from Kamppi on a street which has a few great little bars and eateries, Bar Loose, true to its name, is a swingin’ city-centre bar. They host extravagant burlesque and swing nights, rock and roll parties, and of course, plain old rock gigs.

This live venue serves as hang-out, hide-out and shelter for rock and rollers of all nationalities, and is gay friendly, straight friendly, goth friendly...basically just friendly. “A liberal living room for good people” as they like to put it. The queues can get a little long later in the night, but you’re generally not left out in the cold.

Arrive earlier in the evening to avoid the wait, and if it’s likely to be a popular gig, book tickets in advance so you won’t miss out.
