Why locals love it?
Ancient Finnish wisdom states that even at its absolute worst heavy metal is still far superior to other musical genres. This is the place to go if you prefer blast beat over shuffle and wish to raise that pint to the comforting melodies of Slayer.
Why you should visit it
The name stems from a wonderful, archaic Finnish swearword referring to the devil - of course, with the vowels removed for modesty. This word is at its best and most vitriolic when rrrrrrolled off the furred tongue of a filthy drunk in Kallio, but it’s certainly not something you’d say to your girlfriend’s parents.
