Situated right on the canal, this former print factory has been beautifully restored to house Hackney Wick's first micro-brewery and pizzeria, a fit-out of locally recycled materials that will have designers drooling before they even smell the food. The Crate lagers/ales are all brewed on site, and so good you may feel compelled to try them all!

Why you should visit it
Order your favourite fresh stone baked pizza and beer (or cider/wine), squeeze in with the locals at one of the bustling long tables, then kick back and enjoy the atmosphere and live dj beats. Alternatively if the weather is nice, head outside and find a spot to chill and watch the canal boats float by. Welcome to East London.
Special tip
Don't panic! this is still Zone 2. Take the Victoria line to Highbury and Islington, then change for the Overground service to Stratford - very quick.
