The humble greasy spoon, a small cafe or diner specialising in fried food, has been an institution in the UK since the 1920's providing nourishment for the hungover. Regency Cafe is London's finest and most famous example of such establishments and this well preserved 1940's Art Deco gem is still serving up all-day breakfasts today.

This place truly has it's own character from the sporting artefacts covering the walls to the staff's deafening yelling of orders for collection. They serve proper 'working men's meals here; cheap, big portions, and not for the healthy hearted but tasty none the less. This is a legitimate taste of true English culture not to be missed.
You may recognise your surroundings from the gritty London film; 'Layer Cake' starring the latest 007, Daniel Craig.
