From November to February every year, each Wednesday Melbourne’s iconic Queen Victoria Market puts on a special treat in the Suzuki Night Market. Unlike the daytime market, the Night Market is less about kitsch souvenirs, and more about artisan goods.
There’s no better place to see multicultural Melbourne than at the food stands at the Suzuki Night Market, with tastes ranging from Mauritian to Mexican, Ethiopian to Spanish and the always classic Italian and French. And the best bit- most of its cheap!
The night market also has a great range of local products for your Wednesday night shopping fix and a range of live entertainment.
The market is licensed, so you can also enjoy a glass of sangria, or one of their scrumptious espresso martinis. But be warned, in nice weather, this place can be PACKED, so get in early, and good luck finding a table!
