Why locals love it
There is something about cities which have hosted the Olympic Games. And even though it has been about 40 years since Munich welcomed athletes from all around the world, the spirit of the games are very much alive in this park.
Why you should visit it
The Stadium is one of the architectural highlights of Munich and still is one of the most spectacular around the world. FC Bayern Munich used to play football there but after moving to the Allianz Arena the stadium is used for other things like talking a tour over the stadium roof.

A concert and you don't have a ticket? Take a blanket and a bottle of whine and listen to the concert from on top of the Olympic Hill.
