All pastries on offer at this small and cosy tearoom are homemade. They do serve lunch, though I recommend coming here for their desserts. The décor is beautiful with exposed wooden beams, old stonework, numerous tea boxes, small blackboard menus and jam jars. There’s also a huge window that allows the light to stream in.

Au Thé Gourmand attracts students from nearby secondary schools who come here to drink coffee or tea after class. It’s the perfect place to stop by when you’re visiting the Latin quarter as it helps you disconnect from the noisy streets. Prices are very low for the French capital.
I recommend ordering a cappuccino and the lemon pie – my personal favourites!
