Merveilleux is a specialty made with meringue and whipped cream. There are several flavours available including cherry, coffee, praline and caramel, and each one is coated in either chocolate shavings, crystalised meringue pieces or candied nuts. Those with a sweet tooth should be careful – these delicacies are totally moreish!

Why you should visit it
Not only are merveilleux delicious, they're really pretty! They come in a variety of sizes including mini, individual and larger cakes to share. If you aren’t convinced, go ahead and try a bite-size portion – you won’t regret it! If meringue really isn’t your thing, try the flavoured "cramique" brioche – it's another house speciality.
