I was really delighted to discover Le Grenier à Pain that was created by Michel Galloyer, multi-awarded Chef. This bakery is known for its baguette. However I preferred testing the fougasse that is a flat bread and a French specialty. The fougasse with figs and goat cheese was just amazing. The combination of the two flavors was perfect!

There are several addresses in Paris, in France and in some cities abroad. Le Grenier à Pain won many awards and his reputation is ensured. The most recent award "1st Prize Best Baguette in Paris" has been won by this bakery rue des Abbesses in 2010.
It's better to avoid going there after office hours around 5pm as the waiting line can be long.
