This adorable café is hidden down a passage. I found it by chance on a day when I was starving – lucky you! Here you can enjoy homemade tarts, pastries, crumbles, cakes and pies. The décor is cosy and warm, and the furniture is charmingly mismatched. There’s also a small terrace and a mezzanine.

Protected from the surrounding streets, this quiet café is a nice spot for tea. I love the hot chocolate and homemade pastries, especially the cheesecake. The portions are really huge! If you wake up late one day, it’s the perfect café for lunch at around 3–4 pm. Expect to pay around €14 for one drink and one pastry.
It can get crowded on weekends, so it’s best to book a table.
