Housed in an historical tea room on Boulevard de Reuilly, Raimo is a traditional ice cream parlour that has been pleasing local gourmands since 1947. These days it’s also a restaurant and bustling bar. On Thursdays you can enjoy their happy hour specials, while on Sundays you can savour their tasty brunch.

Their ice cream is simply amazing. They offer a wide variety of flavours, many of which are fairly unusual, for example almond milk, tomato and basil, basil and lemon, and candied chestnut. I was impressed when I tasted their chocolate sorbet – it’s very light as it’s not made with milk or cream, though it’s still full of flavour.
They also have two other locations in Paris – a shop in Montmartre at Le Moulin de la Galette and a cart in Jardin des Plantes de Paris.
