Pärnu has been the favorite summer hangout for Estonians since we can remember. On sunny weekends tens of thousands of people pack up their beach supplies, jump into their cars or family vans and head towards Pärnu. It's about time tourists and travellers discover the hidden gem as well!
During the high season there's almost always some kind of a bigger event or festival going on (from music and film to extreme sports and medieval stuff), but even during the winter, the locals favorite pubs and clubs are full of people dancing the night away, so why not join them? Besides, it's right on the “Via Baltica”, in between Tallinn (130 km) and Riga (180 km), so the least you can do is stop for a couple of hours (or days) and see what this lovely little town has to offer.
