Being the summer capital, Pärnu's nightlife mainly attracts younger crowd, explaining all the mainstream nightclubs to choose from. If you're a party animal, this is definitely the city to visit (especially of course during the high season). If you happen to be in Pärnu during the winter, or are just not that big of a nightclub person, you'll be glad to discover the many great pubs in town. Many of these pubs and bars offer live music from every genre possible on weekends. Most of the nightlife hotspots are either in the centre part or down by the beachside, so it will be easy to find your way back after an evening out. If you get munchies at night, there's usually a local burger joint on the way. Just to ruin some of the surprise, the burgers taste nothing like the McDonalds or Burger King you might be used to (they are in fact, much healthier and fill you up quicker).
