750 meters long and 60 meters wide, Wenceslas Square is a vibrant area of hotels, apartments, banks, international shops, restaurants, bars and clubs. The statue of Saint Wenceslas (the patron saint of Bohemia) in the upper end of the square has become the main meeting point for locals.
It’s a good place for shopping, meeting friends or just hanging out. The square is also a spot where demonstrations are held from time to time or where people gather to celebrate various occasions.
