Why you should visit it

“The Last Bastion of Riga” was assembled from the remains of the older ramparts taken down in the 1860’s. Rumour has it they built it on top of a landfill to rid the city of its smell. Pretty smart. Today it’s a completely non-trashy romantic lookout. Expect to see lots of sledges during the winter.
