Why locals love it?

"Rīgas Mākslas telpa" is the widest gallery in the Old Town, always displaying fantastic under-the-radar exhibitions, like works of "lost" Soviet generations etc. The exhibits change every two or three months, making sure there’s always something new to see.

Check their website just in case! They might be closed for setting up a new exhibition when you happen to be there.
