Coming into Riga the TV tower is the first structure to catch your eye from a distance. The iconic structure peaks through the mist on a damp day creating an eerie impression.
Why you should visit it
At 368 metres, this steel television tower is the highest in the European Union. Just be aware they have not cleaned the windows in the viewing platform for some years! Still a great experience.
