This is a beach you can go if you want to avoid the most popular (and crowded) ones. The beach suffers a great influence of the tide: with the high tide the sea leaves almost no space for people on the sand, but when the tide is low, the little strip of sand becomes a paradise with both human and nature beautys.

Why you should visit it
Get there is not difficult, but is also not very easy. Maybe that’s why people (including celebrities) loves to go there seeking for some quiet time and some privacy. You can get there by a street called Estrada do Joá, that links São Conrado to Barra da Tijuca.
Special tip
Once you're at Estrada do Joá look for Sarg. José da Silva street wich has a restrict access. You are allowed to cross this area to get into the beach
