Why locals love it?
Started by two (actual!) French chefs, you know you'll be getting the right stuff. It makes sense that the Bonaparte boasts a more-French-than-French atmosphere. Everything on the menu is made on the spot, from the pastry to the ice cream and they've also got an excellent selection of wines from every part of France.
Why you should visit it
If you're looking for an upclass dining experience, Bonaparte is a place to consider. Also, we should add that the restaurant has a cosy cafe section, with plenty of early morning delights on offer. The gorgeously renovated rooms in one of the oldest buildings in Tallinn hold the first restaurant ever to offer foie gras in Estonia.
Special tip
Out of all the delicious things we recommend the foie gras terrine with raisin syrup, oven-baked snails and duck breast with Xanté sauce.
