Tallinn is losing its party capital image to Riga and Prague, but still attracts a ton of people here only for its nightlife scene. There's an infamous area also referred to as the Bermuda Triangle between Suur-Karja and Väike-Karja streets, where most of the heavy drinking goes on every weekend, or most days in summer. Beer prices range from €2.50 to €3 for tap beer, if you're paying more than that it must be a pretty upscale venue. You can find a few even cheaper places, but you have to be willing to take the side effects. In more sophisticated lounges you'll find people more dressed up than in Western Europe and cocktails are typically 5-6 euros. Most nightclubs have a cover charge, but flyers for free or discounted entry are there if you know where to look. Free live performances in many bars and lounges are also frequent.
