Why locals love it?
The staff are helpful and they provide information on not just Tallinn, but the entire country. There's plenty of books and brochures on sale and free city maps are available. Here you can purchase the Tallinn Card, which can be a handy all-access key to various events, what with all the discounts it provides.
Why you should visit it
We reckon we don't need to tell you what the white letter “i” stands for (but it stands for “information”). Tallinn has two official information centres chock full of maps and anything else you might need during your stay here. You'll find their main office on the corner of Harju and Niguliste street.
Special tip
If you find yourself outside the Old Town, you'll be glad to know the city runs a second information desk at Viru shopping centre. It's open till 9pm.
