Finding a good place, where to eat, in Tartu might unexpectedly turn into quite a challenge. As a big part of Tartu's population are university students, who would rather invest their money in a beer than a meal, there aren't actually that many restaurants (ones that are worth visiting anyway). So if you're not really digging the idea of buying a couple of packages of those one-minute noodles and sitting in your hostel/hotel boiling them, you will hopefully find our little guide useful. Our picks for you include cosy cafes, cheap late night bites and even fancier restaurants to take your partner to (you know, as Tartu is quite a romantic little town, why not try and take the full use of it). Bon Appétit!
