Why locals love it
Tartu doesn't really stand out with a wide selection of clubs, so the only one catering for the 30+ crowd is Maasikas. Yes, that's a nice way of saying that it's for older people. While not the most sophisticated and cultural of all places it still gathers a considerable crowd every weekend.
Why you should visit it
If 19-year-olds are not your crowd and you’d expect a bit more experience from your bartenders then head to Maasikas for their retro beats. Don’t forget to put on your dancing shoes and if you happen to be a young man on the lower end of this age class you may experience being wildly (to the extent of being scary) popular.
Special tip
Maasikas means "strawberry" in Estonian, so look for the sign!
