The idea of Like A Local was born when Kalev Külaase, a seasoned world-traveller, decided that he'd had enough with guidebooks that were either too formal or too wrong. After touring the world he quit his day job to channel his infinite experience into creating a more friendly guide that would allow its users to dive deep into the local way of life.
Kalev finally teamed up with Ülane Vilumets and later with Rait Kapp who, in a defiant act of double-craziness, also decided to kick financial stability in the butt and dedicate their get-go attitude to making the world a better place – one city at a time.
