Love TKO music bar is one of Tokyo's well kept secrets situated in the hedonistic district of Shinjuku. First we were amazed by the oh-I-feel-like-I'm-at-home interior design of this stylish joint where drinks are served straight from a full-functioning kitchen and walls are covered with messages from happy customers. Then we were impressed by the live performances that bi-weekly showcase Tokyo’s new and already well-known talents (including the owner Keiji’s band!), and by the fact that everyone working in the bar is a musician. And most of all, we felt fortunate looking around and seeing that even after the 5th visit to the bar, we were still the only foreigners in the mature crowd of artsy, fun- and music-loving locals.
