In the Mariahilfer Straße, Vienna’s famous shopping area, hidden away in a backyard one can find the DOTS. With it’s all-white interior, lounge area and colourful, sparse lighting it feels a lot more like a club than a restaurant. The central location and inevitable over-eating make it perfect start to a night out.

Why you should visit it
Serving tepanyaki, curry and, mainly excellent sushi from traditional to experimental variations from Nautilus Roll (roasted octopus, ginger, shiitake mushrooms) to Hawaii Roll (pineapple, ebi. black sesame, mint) they have all your Japanese food needs covered. Especially recommended are the “crunchy” (coated with roasted onions) rolls.
Special tip
While the food is just as delicious during the day, the place really comes to life at night, so go there for dinner.
