A very popular place to meet up with your friends. On one side you see the remains of the bastion and couple of meters further on you get this amazing view to Vilnius old town and Užupis district.

Why you should visit it

Not a whole lot remains of the 16th century Vilnius city wall, but the Barbakanas is the one place where you can admire its remains. Because it’s on a hill, the place lends for a great view of the city. And while we don’t encourage drinking in public, we candidly suggest having a small drink while there.

The sunset view from Barbakanas hill is really amazing.
