Locals really appreciate Vilnius' green surroundings. This big park is typically used for sports – even university students from the nearby campus come here during their sports classes to exercise. Many open air concerts also take place here – we're talking Depeche Mode, Björk, Lady Gaga etc.
Why you should visit it
The cool thing about Vilnius is that it’s pretty green. Head across the bridge from the picturesque Žvėrynas district to do some jogging or rollerblading in the pine-scented park.

It's just a 35 minute walk from the Old Town.
