The Ethnological Museum of Addis Ababa is one of the best ethnographic museums in East Africa. It makes visitors understand everything about the different cultural groups of Ethiopia with its great display which focuses in the life cycle - from Birth to Death. History, religion, food culture, and natural facts of the country is described so nicely.

This museum gives a great introduction about the country's culture, nature, history, and plant resources. It is interesting also for the facts are displayed in a way visitors find it easy to grasp. Visitors can also visit the former palace of Emperor Haile Sillassie I.
It is located in the Addis Ababa University Main Campus (the Social Science Faculty) locally known as 6 Kilo Campus. Entrance fee is 100 ETB
