Large, colourful market
Why locals love it
The Central Market has dozens of fantastic stalls which are mainly food including green grocers, candies, butchers etc. Many locals come here if they want to buy more organic food or just because the atmosphere is amazing. It's so colourful, I often like to come and buy some yoghurt/juice and just walk around enjoying all the people and the smells.
Why you should visit it
They occasionally have live music here and there are some little Cafes as well. If you want to see the more cultural side of Adelaide this is a main place to go. It's very loud and has amazing wall art and delicious food. It's right in the heart of the city so plenty of restaurants are nearby if you fancy going out.
Special tip
There's an Asian food court in the market and the food is cheap so if you're on a budget this place is great. There are also many entrances.
