Why locals love it
The city is small so it's always worth exploring as much as you can. The museum is free entry as well. My favourite part is the Egyptian exhibition. Most people come here after spending the day in the city and want to get out of the shops and into history.
Why you should visit it
The museum is often quiet but there is lots to look at so take your time to explore it all. The art gallery is right next door as well and I 100% recommend going there. They always have new and incredible g downstairs as well as the beautiful permanent paintings.
Special tip
There's a cafe inside the museum if you want a quick break and the workers are very helpful and knowledgeable.
