Everything you will taste in this place has something of the extraordinary thrown in for good measure. Try a simple croissant - an added pinch of salt really makes them the best in town. Set in a gorgeous building, with double high ceilings and stunning stained glass window front on the Linnaeusstraat – what's not to like?

Why you should visit it
The (East) Oost has been "up and coming" for a while. Places like this put it ahead of similar cafes in the Pijp in my opinion.
Special tip
The coffee. Better than any barista in town who won't know when to stop adding cinnamon - this is simple, small, unpretentious and delicious.
