When you get in, you might think you really ended up in someone's house and you are bashing a private party. That is how friendly and open most of the visitors are and will be to you. Oh, and don't be surprised if there's an experimental Finnish punk-jazz band playing. Or Siberian multi-intrumentalist twins.

Hanneke's Boom has a great view on the centre from a unique side. If you want to get in touch with locals in their 20's and 30's, this is your place. Good prices and okay food for lunch and dinner. You won't find many tourists here, simply because it is a bit tricky to find Roest. But the journey here pays off immediately when you walk in. Cosy fire place, old cinema seats, second hand Chesterfield couches, cool art and funny details in the interior. It seems innocent, but at night it can get quite naughty.
