Why locals love it
Their pizza is incredibly delicious with excellent homemade crust, well combined ingredients, uniquely creative salads, and, as usual, a pretty damn good beer menu. They have a lot of outdoor covered seating area overlooking the Bilderdyjkgracht canal. It is situated on the 12/13/14 tram lines, very close to De Hallen and other Oud West goodies.
Why you should visit it
It is out of the Centrum core so there are a lot less tourists but the area still has the feel of old Amsterdam. It easily accessible by bicycle or tramline, gives off the feeling of the city without the crush and it is also located quite closely to De Hallen, which is a must-not-miss and the area is quiet off main roads for great exploring.
Special tip
Try the Bee Sting pizza if you like spicy, the spiced maple syrup adds a certain sweet zing to it.
