Karl and his partner run a lovely job, and you can feel that atmosphere. Since the beginning he was available on several emails exchanges to make all doubts cleared. The tour itself was nice and comfortable. He explain main things but also let you enjoy the view and the peace around the canals while tasting a french red wine. Super! Thanks buddies!

Description

Born and raised in Amsterdam, I know the best places to show you. From our houseboat in the centre, we’ll hop on our historic and comfortable boat for the real Amsterdam experience.

The tour starts on the Oudeschans canal with a view of the famous Sluyswachtershuis building, which is now a café. We’ll make our way to the Amstel River and sail underneath the Skinny Bridge. There’s a local legend that says if you kiss your loved one while passing underneath it, you’ll be together forever.

Next, we’ll head for Stadhouderskade, where we’ll pass the Heineken Brewery. Also the Rijksmuseum and Vondelpark we pass along the way. We’ll then sail to the Prinsengracht, Leidsegracht, the Jordaan district area (where you find the Anne Frank House, Westertoren and 9 streets area).

Curious where the major lives? I'll show you! After that : the Golden Bend on the Herengracht, where the most expensive canal houses can be found.

The tour ends with in the Red Light district area, the oldest en most vibrant part of the city!

Fantastic!
This was an fantastic afternoon. Not only is a canal cruise the best way to see Amsterdam but our guides were excellent. Karl and his partner were fun, laid back and full of information about Amsterdam. They filled up our drinks, provided great conversation and took us to all the great spots. I've been on the canals before and this was by far the best one. Highly recommend these guys! I'll be booking again when we have other guests.
Very nice trip in every regard!
