Hi I'm Petra! I'm an artist and live in Amsterdam. With my art I have international exhibitions from London to New York City. Besides my art I design fashion and I am founder of Heart-World and one of the founders of AMFAD Store: Amsterdam Fashion Art & Design! I love to meet new people to show them my art and prepare in the meanwhile a dinner as a real hobby chef or to guide them throughout the city of Amsterdam. Meeting new people is for me a big inspiration. All the beautiful stories of all different people and their countries … brings my working days into balance. If you like to go for ’A splendid art tour included dine & wine’ with me in a private setting at my studio please don't hesitate and book. Looking forward meeting you! -Petra

Greeted by host with warm welcome & departed as old friends!
for Petra’s tour (Art Dinner supper: Filet Mignon)
Petra,s home is in a magical setting direct on an Amsterdam canal with the glowing lights of the buildings across the view sparkling back as we shared a glass of wine, interesting tales and delicious food she prepared fresh whilst we looked on. It could not have been better! Petra is a charming young lady, she was kind enough to tell us about her art technique inbetween dinner courses, it was fascinating and Petra is clearly most talented and varied in her media examples. We felt very privalaged to have shared her home and when, too quickly, after about three hours we needed to leave her as our transport was waiting, we left with a feeling we had known her for much longer. Petra has that impression on her visitors. She is enthusiastic about her cooking and works hard to ensure her guests are treated well. The additional "treat" of viewing her art and her description of how it evolves was a wonderful bonus and there is no suggestion that guests are expected to buy anything. RECOMMENDED!

Petra is a great host! The food was delicious. Everything was very clean.

After the meal, she showed us her artwork. It was great to see the creative process behind her amazing pieces.

Thanks, Petra!

Was an amazing evening. Something so different from the obvious visit to Amsterdam. This is a whole new easy to get to area. There's more to Amsterdam than the beautiful city center. This area that Petra lives in is modern and clean and designerly and such a fun way to see a new part of Amsterdam. If you don't want to walk 25 minutes from the center, I took tram number 26 and I walked there and took the tram back to Central Station.

Petra's cooking was clean and fresh and healthy and I was full so I couldn't even do dessert! It was DELISCIOUS! She's easy to be with and makes you feel comfortable.

My favorite part was to witness a true artist's home. I got to see her studio and her collections of inspiration! She's totally the real deal, breathing art all day long. I enjoyed her art as much as the dinner. An extra bonus to see and hear an artist's process!
