Christmas / New Year Time Dinner

I had a great time at Petra's. The food & wine were delicious and the atmosphere made you feel right at home. P.s. The location is easy to get from centraal. Have fun!

I enjoyed a relaxed, memorable evening with Petra and 10 other guests + Petra and her mother, Lucia. The setting is surreal, with a view of the water and a candlelit dining room table. There was plenty of delicious food, including a starter with smoked salmon and wasabi on fresh toasted bread with olive oil. Next we had pumpkin soup with arugula and cashews. For the main course we enjoyed a salad and roasted potatoes with balsamic and chicken wrapped in bacon, cooked to perfection. The dessert was light and fresh: peaches with vanilla, amaretto (I think!) and fresh whipped cream. Wine was flowing throughout the evening and there was plenty of everything, including seconds for dinner. Afterwards Petra was kind enough to show us some of her art and tell us about the local art scene. We left with recommendations on places to go after and spent the rest of the evening with other guests from the dinner. It was the highlight of my trip to Amsterdam and my cousins who came with me agree!

I had a great evening with Petra. The food and wines were fantastic and her art and story of the Fam. Li are very inspiring. We sat on the beautiful quay. I can strongly suggest a 'Heart and Art' evening to everyone!
