We believe that sharing food, stories, and time with other hungry globetrotters is the seed of friendship and connection. Our goal is to fill your belly and soul by introducing you to our city through its tastes and tales.
Let us take you ''off the eaten track” to discover some truly special places that serve up wonderful foods that locals love.
From Monday to Saturday, our street food adventure begins in the multicultural neighbourhood of De Pijp, home to one of the biggest markets in the Netherlands – the Albert Cuypmarkt. It’s famous for offering some of the most delicious Dutch and colonial street foods. Stroopwaffels, krokets, Surinamese and Indonesian dishes, and the infamous herring are some of the dishes you’ll savour here.
After the market, we’ll visit some of our favourite specialty stores and family-owned eateries. From a delicious cheese tasting to the place that sells the city’s legendary chocolate cookie and much more...
In typical Dutch style, we’ll end the experience at one of the oldest brown bars in Amsterdam to wash down all of the goodness.
See you soon! Doei! (Dutch for "Bye!")
